Co-Founder & Co-CEO
Filipp Korentsvit is one of the founding partners of NaturalWorks, and our Co-Chief Executive Officer.
After university Filipp joined Goldman Sachs in their London office where he worked for 7 years on the Emerging Markets Structuring desk in the Fixed Income division, finally in the role of Executive Director. Filipp left GS to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions and founded a mining services company in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Most recently prior to establishing NaturalWorks, Filipp was the financial advisor to an internationally active family office.
As a child, Filipp spent most of his free time looking for mushrooms in forests and later developed a deep affinity to skiing and the mountains at large when he moved to Austria.
Filipp holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Statistics from the University College London.
Co-Founder & Co-CEO
Daud Gutseriev is one of the founding partners of NaturalWorks, and our Co-Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to establishing NaturalWorks with his business partners, Daud worked at VTB Capital for over 10 years, most recently as an Associate Director in the Infrastructure Capital & Project Financing team. Daud gained extensive experience in the field of project structuring and in the raising of both debt and equity financing. Daud worked on a number of high profile infrastructure projects in various roles.
Daud left the finance industry to apply all the knowledge and experience gained to his desire to start his own venture.
Daud holds a Bachelors of Science degree with Second Class Honours in the field of Management from University of Royal Holloway (University of London) and an Executive MBA from University of Oxford - Saïd Business School.
Co-Founder & CFO
Maximilian Moldaschl is one of the founding partners of NaturalWorks, and our Chief Financial Officer.
After working for various leading London based financial institutions for 13 years – most recently as a Director of Global Asset Allocation & Macro Strategy in Citigroup and as a Senior Cross-Asset Strategist in the Multi-Asset funds of BNP Paribas Asset Management – Max left the finance industry to pursue his passion for nature and to apply his skills as an entrepreneur.
Born and raised in Austria, Max has always had a dear connection with the alps and the forest alike. As our CFO, he is in the perfect spot to link his financial expertise with his love for nature.
Max holds a Masters in Engineering degree with First Class Honours in the field of Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
Prof. Richard Barker
Partner & Senior Advisor
Prof. Richard Barker, BSc, MA, DPhil (Oxon), FRSM, HFBPS, OBE is a senior business and scientific advisor at NaturalWorks.
Richard is a senior leader in the global life sciences sector. His professional interests focus on innovation and translation in precision medicine & health, drawing on his 30-year career in senior roles in biopharmaceuticals (Director General of the ABPI and NED at Celgene), diagnostics (CEO of Chiron Diagnostics) and medical informatics (Global General Manager of IBM Healthcare). He chaired the Population Health section of the recent UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Health Longevity.
His other positions include Founder & CEO of New Medicine Partners, Co-Founder of two early-stage businesses, Metadvice (healthcare AI) and Innohealth (Asia/Europe biotech licensing), Chairman of the Health Innovation Network and a Non-Executive Director for the Image Analysis Group. He also holds honorary faculty positions at Oxford University and Kings College London.
Richard has published two Oxford University Press books: ‘2030—the future of medicine’ and ‘Bioscience—lost in translation?’ as well as numerous academic papers.
Prof. Ivar Kalvins

Prof. Ivar Kalvins MD (Latvian State University, Faculty of Chemistry), PhD - Doctor of Sciences in chemistry (Latvian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Organic Synthesis), Postdoctoral studies (University of Munich), Doctor habilitus in chemistry (State University of Leningrad), Full Professor (Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis) is the Scientific Advisor at NaturalWorks.
Professor Kalvins is currently the President of the Latvian Academy of Sciences and Director of Scientific Council at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal ''Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds'' since 2010.
Best known for his work in new drug discovery and the inventionof cardioprotective drug meldonium, which has achieved international recognition, Professor Kalvins has more than 400 publications and holds 170 international patents.
Founding members of the Latvian Innovators Association and its Chairman. Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Advisory Boards member of Riga Stradins University and Riga Technical University, and Chairman of Advisory Board at Liepaja University.
Prof. Gennady Shvarts
Partner & Medical Advisor
Prof. Gennady Shvarts, MD (First Moscow Medical University by I. Sechenov), PhD, Doctor of Science, is the Medical Advisor at NaturalWorks.
Gennady is a professor of pharmacology with over 40 years professional experience in the field. He specialises in the pharmacology of the Kinin system, Inhibitors of RAS and the development of medicines, screening methodologies, experimental and clinical studies of innovative drugs and generics in the fields NSAID, bronchodilators, antihypertensive, analgesics, and activators of cognitive functions.
Gennady held various senior positions during his career, most recently at Teva Pharmaceutical Ind. Ltd., where between 2002 and 2014 he was the Medical Director of Teva’s Moscow office and from 2014 to present is the Director of Scientific and Medical Affairs.
Throughout his professional career, Gennady has published more than 280 scientific papers; filed 30 patents and most distinctly developed two innovative drugs (Troventol – a broncho-dilating drug, Methiapril – an antihypertensive drug), as well as bringing a range of generics to market including Ortofen, Ibuprofene, Ketamine, Parmidine and Etamsilate.
Dr Olga Shvarova

Dr Olga Shvarova, D.Phil is the Innovation Advisor of NaturalWorks, responsible for the direction of R&D and our innovation strategy.
Olga started to work with NaturalWorks in June 2020 to help them meet regulatory requirements and joined the company after getting enthused with the NaturalWorks’ vision of a nature-inspired, environmentally-friendly, sustainable wellness brand.
Olga is an Expert in Technology Transfer and Commercialisation with European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and an Advisor for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Centre for Technology Transfer (APCTT). She has extensive experience in commercialisation strategy, IP protection and management, technology appraisal, and innovation processes and has held a number of senior posts in med-tech, M&A, corporate finance and private equity firms.
Olga holds a Doctorate Degree in Materials from the University of Oxford and has recently completed a course in Sustainable Finance from the Institute of Sustainability Leadership of the University of Cambridge.
Partner, Head of Branding and PR
Georgie Woollams is a senior partner at NaturalWorks, and our head of Branding & PR.
After several years in communications, Georgie set up her own leading international marketing agency in 2010, working across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Hard work led to a rapid expansion and many successes, but Georgie also realised she needed to take better care of herself. Several weeks spent in Los Angeles, Georgie was introduced to the CBD industry, sparking an interest which led to her travelling to Switzerland to learn more about the industry and ultimately joining the NaturalWorks team as a partner, from the very onset of the brand.
The NaturalWorks vision is very much ingrained in Georgie, who, for a long time, has preferred to turn to natural solutions when confronted with life challenges. She has always been a big believer in the power of natural healing, and these personal experiences were key to shaping NaturalWorks’ mission.
Head of Commercial Operations
Steve Kenny is our Commercial Lead at NaturalWorks.
With an extensive track record of building businesses and brandsin both the UK and International markets, particularly within Health & Well-being and Food & Drink arenas, Steve brings a wealth of experience to the NaturalWorks team.
Previously occupying senior roles in multi-national FMCG businesses, he has led General Management, Marketing, NPD and Commercial Teams to critical success within organisations as well as step changing performance of smaller, entrepreneurial start up enterprises. With his intimate consumer, category and retailer knowledge he can ensure that NaturalWorks is well positioned to become a valuable player in the burgeoning therapeutic well-being arena.
